Barriers to Communication

Any factor that obstructs or limits the purpose of communication, or distorts the channel of communication between the Source and the Receiver is a barrier to communication.
Communication barriers usually limit or reduce both the ease at which people communicate, and the quality (hence the effectiveness also) of the communication.
These barriers to effective communication may differ according to different situations. But examples of the most common types of barriers include:
