Altruistic Punishment

Altruistic Punishment refers to acts that punish someone in order to do good to others. In other words, altruistic punishments are those punishing acts that are performed to save innocents from the bullies.
We can explain it with an example: in a scenario, A is bullying B; C intervenes and punishes A to protect B. In this case, punishing A to save B can be referred to Altruistic Punishment.
